I was so happy to see that there was a fishmonger in the area and came out specifically to this market for the fish. I made a purchase and I took it home yesterday. Upon opening the package tonight to broil it the smell was really bad. I washed the fish off to try and convince myself it would be okay but I decided against it because I was not comfortable with taking a chance. I called up the fish monger before coming out to the market and he said that he would refund it if I had a receipt. I got there and he said first he had to smell the fish which he never explained that he would doubt me over the phone and he said that he didn't smell an odor. I explained to him that I rinsed it off and that the fish really smelled off and I had people at home that even said the smell was off. Why

Bought frozen cooked lobster meat, that the employee kindly recommended for lobster rolls. I came to the farmers market to get the best possible quality, vs a grocery store. I was a little hesitant but the employee seemed confident so I took a chance. So disappointed after thawing it had no whole lump pieces at all, and the texture was nothing close to what we expected. It was all very dry and rubbery, and it was tiny shredded pieces that seemed like scraps. Worst lobster I’ve ever had and so expensive. The service was good kind and informative, so I felt terrible having such a bad experience to share after such a positive interaction, but this was too much money wasted not to share my experience. Amazing selection! I always look forward to seeing the specials every week. Today I tried their Artichoke and Asiago Stuffed Salmon… it was delicious! 10/10 recommend. They also have the friendliest staff! You are missing out if you don’t check them out.

Crab cakes, crab stuffed flounder, salmon burgers, all gluten free. No fillers. Highly recommended! Friendly, helpful staff. Prices are great!
