Visited from Raleigh. Bad attitude from older lady waitress. The creamer in the squirt bottle on the table was spoiled. The food was bland and gave me a stomach ache shortly after I left. The place is old, run down and seriously lacking any kind of emotion and love. My stomach is still messed up Sunday evening after a Saturday breakfast. I went to Pam’s days before this and Pam’s is the supreme winner in Washington. I recommend everyone go to Pam’s, The Mulberry House or Blu for Brunch. Better places in Williamston, New Bern, Belhaven or Greenville than this shack. Highly don’t recommend

Perfect breakfast spot! Greeted with warm smiles and a cozy mom and pop feel. Love the decor with Mickey, Elvis, and Pepsi. The coffee was piping hot and love the different cups! The veggie omelette was filled with peppers and onions! But the biscuits were hands down the best. They tasted homemade and were fluffy and flaky (like a crescent roll). Next time we are in town we have this spot saved as a favorite.

I love Heartland but today for breakfast I ordered a sausage and cheese omelette and it came out cold, I ordered grilled potatoes with onions and I got fried potatoes smashed. I was very disappointed because I usually get really good food.

Small place with excellent service and great food. They are only open Friday to Sunday but the whole menu is available all day.
