Havanazucar Cuban Sandwiches

I live locally and was looking around for something different to eat for lunch. I decided to check this place out, and believe me I was not disappointed! As soon as I walked in to the restaurant, I was immediately greeted. Great customer service! I decided to jump on board with the Ropa Vieja and it was excellent! Really tasty plantains, and beans!! I've eaten plenty of Cuban food before and know whats good. The café con leche was smooth and definitely woke me up! It's a small location, located next to a Mobil gas station, but has plenty of seating available. I had previously tried the breakfast buffet that they had at their other location and was impressed with that as well. I will definitely try something different on my next visit.

I ordered the Havana Burger its one of the Chef’s creations. It was delicious! If you like the old school (good) McDonald fries, these are better and have great seasoning. The burger has two patties, personally I removed 1 (now i can make another 🍔 at 🏠) to improve the ratio - i believe it taste better with one less patty. Maybe they can offer it as a single and double 😉. Will definitely be back to try the cuban sandwich and some of then other menu options. The prices are reasonable and honestly more for your 💵. I would highly recommend pickup vs ordering for delivery as some of these items are better enjoyed immediately.

The high dessert has something worth coming back for! On the way back down the hill we were looking for something "different"...pleasantly surprised and right next to the gas station we stopped by Havanazucar intrigued by the cuban menu. WOW- we got the potato balls, the cuban sandwich and the rabo encendido. All of the dishes were flavorful, not too spicy but you can ask for spicy salsa on the side. Location is small, better suited for drive thru. Definitely worth stopping by!

Loved my order the food was delicious the meat was was moist freshly made. I ordered a( Cuban sandwich ) ( Havana burger ) & (papa's rellenos) all 3 items were delicious and the crispy bananas that came with the Cuban sandwich was really delicious especially with the garlic sauce they have for the banana chips garlic sauce has a similar flavor to some Mediterranean food style garlic sauce very delicious. The fries are even seasoned with garlic and some parsley or some green herb that pairs well with fries. The burger is thick juicy amazing burger id say with thick bacon slices way better then farmer boys id say I felt like I was eating healthier here lol. The stuffed potato balls are delicious with the sauce it comes with. They are crispy outside and mushy inside with its beef meat id def

I used the drive-thru. I was greeted at the window with a big smile and excellent service. Ordered 2 Cubanos (one not shown but it had fries). The food was hot, fresh, and very good. I didn’t try the fries but my husband said they were great. The plantain chips were very good too. The garlic sauce on the side was unbelievably delicious! Had a very fresh garlic flavor. Also ordered a side of sweet plantains. Perfection. Sweet, not mushy. I’ll be frequenting this restaurant and I’m looking forward to trying different items.
