Haston Free Public Library

FIVE STARS - Small town usually means meager offerings at the local library. Thanks to a few, very dedicated community members and exceptional staff, our town library is well managed. New interactive groups are constantly available, for all ages and capabilities. Story time for the wee ones, book club / sales for adults, and color-time for literally all. I find the staff take their careers and patrons seriously. It took me several years to figure out I can just ask them for suggestions and haven't been let down yet. Even if they've never heard of the book, a few clicks will show them what they need to know. I've broadened my favorite authors based solely on their recommendations. Don't like to read? Their DVD collection is impressive and they've ordered all I've ever asked for. Full

Welby Library itself is excellent, with fairly helpful staff, it has very strange hours and the Librarians is like anyone staying outside the library for too long. The Wi-Fi can also be difficult.

It has weird hours but it's a clean full library with good workers. They also have different events throughout the year for kids and adults.

Disappointed after walking with my grandchildren to the juggling event, only to receive a call 10 minutes prior to the event postponing it! We were at the steps.....
