Hartman's Bakery Manitowoc

The bakery was everything I hoped to share with my kids from bakeries I remember as a kid. The yummy smells, beautifully decorated cookies, wide array of treats. Everyone got a different item. The baker answered our questions about allergens quickly. A must for everyone to experience. Nostalgia with old favorites as well as modern treats.

Hartman's Bakery is one of the best I have ever been to. We were in town for the NFL Draft and looking for a breakfast spot. Hartman's popped up, and I had to stop. I will be dreaming about this place, long after my visit, just like Mike's Pastry in Boston. I tried an eclair and a peanut square. They both held up to eating later in the day. The eclair was firm on the outside, frosting was perfectly chocolaty, and cream on the inside was plentiful. Now, the peanut square, I have never heard of this piece of heaven. The inside was a sweet, fluffy, moist cake, coated in some kind of glaze and rolled in peanuts. The nuts were finely chopped, making it easy to eat. I went back the next morning to fill a box with delectable treats to bring home for the kids to enjoy. I can't wait to sample more

Best Bakery! My brother in-law introduced donuts to me around 10 years ago. every time we came by they were closed. Today's my luckiest day.

What’s not to love about this bakery? My kids and I love their donuts, cut out cookies are my favorite!! And my son’s birthday cake was so delicious! Super cute too! Lots of compliments on it. Everyone at the bakery is so helpful and nice. My bakery close to home retired so now I will drive 25 minutes to come here. And if I’m in town, I try to make a stop for something delicious

I first moved to the little house next door to the shop in 2011. I fell in love with the wonderful white chocolate blueberry scones they sold to the down town Cafe. Ive tried several dozen scones seeking the consistency and flavor and cannot. This is my favorite bakery.
