Hartley's Jamaican Restaurant

After a long day at work, didn’t feel like cooking so tried DoorDash and came across this place with 4.5 starts so I said why not. The 2 stars is because the oxtails did taste good. Food arrived not sealed properly and the rice was mushy since they dumped the oxtails sauce right in top of it. Also ordered spicy wings and not sure what they sent me bc it definitely doesn’t look like wings and I wasn’t about to taste it Needless to say I’m so disappointed and $37 broker ughhh

My order consisted of a medium jerk chicken plate, a medium chicken soup and a beef patty with cocoa bread and cheese. The food was mid at best to me before ordering I asked was the jerk chicken grilled. She said yes it was not it was baked in the oven and a little dried out to me the rice and beans was ok the mixed veggies consisted of green beans carrots and onions those was good. The medium chicken soup had a decent flavor but it was all potato carrots and chicken bones with no actual chicken. The beef patty cocoa bread and cheese was the star of the show the patty was flaky and crispy and the beef inside was well seasoned the cocoa bread was fresh fluffy and soft. I will give them another try to see what the other dishes are like. The restaurant itself was clean and looked well organiz

The portions are HUGE! We ordered medium size and there was a lot of food. They have non-spicy options as well.

Mmmmmmmmm! First time visiting today and the patty with coco bread and cheese was soooooo goooood!! I bought it at 10 in the morning. Lol I was passing through Brockton and decided to check them out and I'm so glad I did! Delicious for breakfast! lol God bless them for having the Bible open at the register. I appreciate it too!! ❤️❤️❤️ I will come back!!

Just moved to Brockton a couple of months ago. So glad I found this place now I don't have to head into Boston to get my Jamaican breakfast. First time visiting got the saltfish and callaloo, with dumplings. Can't wait to try them for dinner.
