Hartland Public Library

I have stopped here twice while hiking on the Ice Age Trail. Each time my fellow hikers and I were greeted with a smile and warm welcome. All staff were helpful, answering questions and sharing trail magic. We were encouraged to visit the nook dedicated to the IAT (and, yes, we signed the log). Great resources available for the community and out of town visitors. Beautiful facility and outstanding employees. Thank you!

It's a wonderful library! Fully equipped with everything you could want in a library. Staff is friendly and really cares. They host wonderful events. The kids play area is great and even a teen hang out video game area. There's also some historical artifacts from the town in an upstairs museum room. There's always a craft goodie bag for kids and a spice of the week (or month not sure) exploration bag to take home. So much more than just books.. they also have a library of "things", passes to attractions, puzzles, board games, audio books, and DVDs.

This is the loudest library to ever study in! The "study area" is kids running, people talking on mobile phones on speaker, retired folks sitting around talking about politics. I don't understand why the library staff doesn't enforce this as a quiet zone and direct people to designated areas for this other stuff. If you truly need to study, DO NOT COME HERE

Such an incredible asset to the community! We're at the library almost every week. They have great programming, resources, and activities for all ages. My 2-year-old LOVES story time with Mr. Peter. He does such a wonderful job with the kiddos. He keeps them engaged and excited through the program. We've attended numerous programs that they offer throughout the year FOR FREE. So wonderful. Of course, I love how easy it is to get a book from the library inter loan system and enjoy the Libby app as well.
