UPDATE: 15 Oct 25 Return to the very next day and was disappointed that the ribs I ordered today tasting nothing like the ones I had yesterday. Barely any flavor 😔. I guess this place is one of those spots that are hit or miss depending on the day of the week. (2nd Pic) This place has the Best BBQ in Omaha so far. I know everyone taste is different especially me being from the south. The meat is well seasoned and smoked to perfection and the sides are dumb good. This is real BBQ. (1st Pic)

Heartland Barbecue is our go-to spot. We eat here all the time, and it never disappoints. It is a fantastic little family-owned restaurant with consistently good food and generous portions. Everything we have tried has been flavorful and satisfying, and you can tell it is made with care. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and appreciative of their customers. It feels like one of those neighborhood places you are genuinely happy to support because they do things right. There is always room to grow, but this place is absolutely worth coming back to again and again. Highly recommend if you are in Omaha and want solid, reliable barbecue.

I have supported this business for years the food is generally pretty good , today I went in and spent $30 to treat myself using my hard earned money but when I got the food this time it was absolutely disgusting, the food was visibly old I tried to work past it but I could not there was a huge chunk of potato in my baked beans & my ribs were impossible to tear apart & when I brought it to the restaurant owners attention she was outrageously rude and said there is nothing she could do after I asked her to just remake the food she said they had no more ribs so I asked for my money back and she told me no & continued to tell me to get out of the store after I continued asking how we can come to an agreement so I didn’t feel like I just threw my money down the drain. As an Omaha native & bbq lover, I think Hartland has the best bbq in the city. Seasoned to perfection and always hot, they never miss. And the lemonade, BETTER THAN A CALYPSO! I'm a big potato salad lover, and theirs is by far my favorite. The best part is the friendly service, I never feel rushed, and they answer questions kindly. Would definitely recommend 👌

Very delicious, never been! Wish I had known of this sooner! It's absolutely delicious! I got the brisket sandwich and was full. Friend got the whole dinner it was amazing pork with brisket with baked beans cucumber salad corn bread said it was yummy. So 👍 if you get a chance go!
