Harris House by Heirloom Boutique Collection

We loved our stay at Harris House! Not only is it beautifully decorated, has everything you need, is in a great Duluth location AND it was built by my Great Great Grandfather Anak Alexander Harris in 1894! As a beautiful Victorian house, I watched it being remodeled for years and finally stayed here. I was delighted and proud with the history shared in the Welcome Book about his prominence. There are great views of Lake Superior, 2 blocks from the Lake Walk trail, close to Canal Park and many fabulous restaurants. Anak would be so proud of the original decor that was saved. Love it!!👍💙

Overall we had wonderful time! The house was a bit chilly and took while to heat up when we first arrived. However, it is a historical house with very tall ceilings and we visited during the winter. Kitchen was well stocked, the rooms were lovely, and the house was perfectly located! We would suggest adding an entry rug to help keep the winter out of the main living areas.

We had an amazing stay at the Harris House. We stayed in Unit 1 and it was very spacious and beautifully furnished. It was very clean and comfortable. Communication with the management company was excellent. Would highly recommend a stay here.

This is a beautiful apartment that is located close to a lot of the city’s activities and restaurants. It is clean and updated with modern amenities and decor. Easy parking and check in/check out process. We will be back!

This home is a part of an historic home. The apartment was modern, very clean, well appointed with no extra clutter which I appreciate, The reason for the 3 in location was that the listing stated the home was right on Lake Superior. It simply was NOT right on Lake Superior! It was on a bluff about two blocks from the water, lake view! The map suggests a more accurate assessment however it was described incorrectly at the top of the listing. We were very disappointed BUT it was conveniently located near downtown close to a hospital, nice grocery store, hardware store, pharmacy AND a very near bus stop. That was great! The Harris House is beautiful! The description needs to be update to prevent sad travelers.
