Harlan Community Library

My daughter-in-law brings my grandchildren here every Wednesday for library time. They sing, read a book, play, make a craft and enjoy time with other children. There are also adult crafts that they do on occasion and I hope to have a day that I can attend. It is a clean facility with great staff. They are very attentive and help wrangle the kids. It's a wholesome thing to do.

The library was so helpful with what I needed to do. I also signed up to get a library card.

The library does not update their website. We drove here for storytime according to their website and they didnt have it going. No one was manning either desk for more than 10 minutes. So by the time i figured out it was moved it was to late. I asked to sign my kids up for the summer reading program and instead of saying no they danced around the answer. Staff was rude acting as if i should have known things before i asked. Worst library ive been to, they do not act like i belong.

Went to the last chance book sale at the Harlan library. Great book sale. Bought over a dozen books for 25c per book. Definitely wanna go back for this sale next year. Very nice clean facility and librarian was friendly and helpful. Excellent experience!

Dina & the staff were great & they gave my 2 grandchildren magic kits & my daughter a fall garland kit! They had a book sale too & we got 18 books & DVD for .85 cents!!!📚❤❤
