Visit Date: February 22, 2026 I have lived in Baldwin most of my life, except for some years I spent in Merrick, Hewlett and in Babylon with my ex-husband. I've been back in my childhood home trying to get back on my feet after divorce which has been hard and I don't remember ever visiting this deli, it's possible I went as a child and don't remember. On Sunday I was doing a 7 mile run before the blizzard hit because my job was closed. I was almost done with my run and realized I lost my second energy waffle for fuel. This is a step back in time to good quality old fashioned NY delis. Food is amazing and always fresh. Its an institution in our community. We're snowbirds now and when we come home to NY this is a must have on atleast a weekly basis! My dad is elderly and they treat him with so much respect. We have so many great memories here over the years. Thank you!

I eat here at least twice a week for lunch, I recently ordered a platter of wraps that were fantastic, the potato salad is always the best.. friendly, spotlessly clean store , with kind and helpful service.

Deciding to make your own deli meats because one mistake happened with boars head. Seems like they just want to save money. Funny how this place thinks they can make better products than a company who has been around for 120 years! Imagine they only been in business 27 years and they think by making their own turkey will bring back their business. When this all passes over and boars head is the product all want I hope boars head never allows them to have their product again and let them continue to make their own dry turkey. The neighborhood changed that’s why they are slow this is a perfect excuse to bring cheap products in and charge the same.
