Happy's Snack Bar

Went here for a late dinner on a Sunday night. Food was excellent, hot and had huge portions. Great place if you are hungry and don't want to deal with going out. Definitely would go back.

We had the BBQ pulled pork with coleslaw, fries and a drink. It was so delicious, flavorful and enought for 2 to share for $15.75. Outside seating

Fresh made daily but not quality food. The fresh cut fruit is fairly priced. Hale Koa is not known for its food. 1 thigh, 3 chicken legs and a cheese pizza was $24.50

With the great reviews I was expecting a lot better. More like a hole-in-the-wall, premade foods under a heat lamp, like a 7/11. I tried the fish and chips. Frozen fish with McDonald’s like fries. Tartar sauce was little packets of Heinz (so gross). Hubby and kiddo ended up with hotdogs. I was really surprised at the cost of it all. Way overpriced for such mediocre food. The one thing I enjoyed was the sliced pineapple cup. We went on a Friday evening.

Overpriced hot dogs. Family and I tend to purchase food at this bar often when we’re vacationing in Waikiki. Over all it’s convenient and ok food. I only have one gripe. Why is the hot dog $11.50. The poolside bar has them for $6.50 and the NX has them for $1.99 all same hot dogs. Blows my mind.
