Happy Teriyaki #5

We used to live near here and ate here quite often. The food is about the same as most every teriyaki restaurant in the Puget sound area. The service used to be much better. $33 for 2 salads is a bit much.

2 stars for decieving behavior: Food is great, but I've been here at least 20x and when you get Beef + Chicken : I promise you there will be 75% chicken 25% beef. Not 50/50 - they actually layer the chicken under the beef so it looks like it's even but it never it. I waited to make sure this was consistent behavior. Super disappointed in how they think we won't notice. Do better.

Inside felt a little bland but the food was just oh my! The portion sizes are insane and teriaky was awesome! One thing that was kinda eh was the fact that the fried rice was just some veggies in the normal steamed rice. The people at the front were pretty nice though and they were very chill.

07/15/2024: Pretty decent for a casual dining spot. Portions were good size, pricing a bit higher than other places. Teriyaki chicken was good, sauce not too sweet and nice grilled flavor. Chicken katsu was okay. Chicken was fried nicely however the cutlet was pretty thin. Gyoza and egg rolls were good. Service was friendly and seating was clean.

With my son's dietary restrictions being allergic to dairy, we don't eat out very often. So when we do, we go somewhere where we know we will enjoy the food and I don't have to worry about the safety of the ingredients for him. This was a fun evening eating in, rather than taking it to go like normal. Loved the date I got to have with my little man. He told me I was pretty and snuggled me. Other than photos for here, my phone was put away. I encourage people to check them out and bury the phone and live in the moment!
