Happy House

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Happy House – Neosho, MO I was seriously impressed with Happy House. For a small-town Chinese buffet, this place knocks it out of the park. The food was fresh, hot, and constantly being refilled. Everything tasted great, from the classic favorites like General Tso’s and lo mein to the surprisingly good sushi and hibachi options. The staff was friendly, quick to clear plates, and made the whole experience smooth. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had way more variety than I expected. For the price, you really can’t beat it. If you’re in Neosho and craving Chinese, this is absolutely the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This is an older building...but clean! I'm the pickiest person when it co.es to food. I enjoyed the food. The rice was a tad too sticky for me...I liked it none the less. The flavors were there. And they kept up with the food. We plan to go back tonight actually.

We went mid afternoon, wasn’t busy at all. Food was not great but wasn’t horrible either. Just wasn’t for us. Overly thick soups and sauces. Salad bar was huge lettuce leaves you’d use for a wrap not chopped for salad. Waitress refilled our drink once. Overall, we just were not impressed with this place. Probably won’t be back.

Four hostesses greeted is at the door, the buffet was hot and ready, and the place appeared clean. Then it went down hill. The waitress slopped my soup allllll over and only filled my tiny cup of a bowl half way, I had to ask for crunchy noodles. Then I had to ask for a spoon. She did ask to refill our drinks. The cashier overcharged me and got huffy when I asked for a receipt and to review the prices on the menu. Ultimately, she saw she had indeed overcharged me and she did refund the difference. Not good at all.

I’m having a hard time understanding why people would wait in line for this place. It was honestly some of the worst Chinese buffet food I’ve ever had. So bland and just little effort to do anything with it. I felt like the General Tso chicken was just frozen Tyson chicken bites covered in a very bland and loose sauce. The Beef and Broccoli was slimy like a bunch of starch had been added to try and thicken it. I paid and left after one trip it was so bad. I did a before and after pic of what I left behind. The Cucumber and Tomato’s were just covered in a cheap Italian Dressing. So disappointing!
