Happy Bear Trail

I had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it. Josh is an exceptional host—very organized, thoughtful, welcoming, and clearly committed to making sure his guests have everything they need. The cabin itself is extremely well organized and very well maintained. Everything felt updated and clean, especially the bathrooms, which were modern and nicely done. The bed was very comfortable, which I really appreciated after long days of winter sports. I loved the little wood stove. It created a warm, cozy atmosphere that made the evenings especially enjoyable. And the hot tub was fantastic. Easy to operate, and ready to go with piping hot water. Soaking in it after a full day outside in the cold was the perfect way to end the day. Overall, a great experience thanks to Josh’s hospital

I had an excellent time staying at Happy Bear Trail in Whitefish, Montana. This beautifully remodeled chalet in the woods was the perfect vacation rental for our group of friends. You might think these are contradictions, but it was both cozy and spacious. With two separate buildings it allowed us a place to gather together and be noisy while keeping another area totally quiet for rest depending on how each of us was feeling. Each room was also full of Montana charm; it's very tastefully decorated. The hot tub was incrdible after each day of skiing and snowmobiling. It was pure relaxation under the stars. The game room had shuffleboard and a bunch of party games, the kitchen was fully equipped for home-cooked meals, and everything was spotless and thoughtfully stocked. I loved the peacefu

Had a great stay at Happy Bear Trail. The place was cozy, thoughtfully decorated, and fully stocked with all the essentials. It’s continently located near the airport, skiing, and close to town. Soaking in the hot tub was a great way to end the day!

Just had the most amazing stay! Flew in for the weekend to enjoy Glacier (which is just a quick 40 minute drive away) but enjoyed this Whitefish retreat just as much! Feels like a 5 star stay every turn you take. Beds were super comfortable, showers were so relaxing and coffee on the front porch with the birds chirping was an added bonus we weren’t expecting. If you’re looking for a great place to stay that has amazing hiking (or skiing) nearby, but gives you that relaxing retreat feel at the end of the day, this is the place for you. Perfect for a girls trip, for a honeymoon retreat or plenty of space to bring the entire family! Whitefish is just a few miles away and is such a cute mountain town with amazing food and shopping!

If you’re looking to get away from the busy life and into peace and quiet, this is the place to go! This house is beautiful and so well maintained. You can tell the owner truly put a lot of hard work into making it feel like your perfect home away from home. It’s also perfectly located for a quick trip into town for shopping or fun. We can’t wait to go back!
