From the stunning mountain drive to the first glimpse of the red A-frame, this place is truly special. It strikes that rare balance of feeling truly secluded while still being close to town and plenty of adventure. Every morning started with long walks and coffee on the front deck, taking in the quiet and the views. The upstairs bedroom has a breathtaking view annd a cute desk for writing. The decor is thoughtful and cozy - we immediately made ourselves at home. We spent the days exploring Salida and hiking. Evenings here are made for were games, laughter, and slowing down near the fire. We’ve stayed in many homes while traveling, and this one stands out above the rest. A perfect home base for nature, connection, and exploring Salida.
