Hangar One Bistro Eatery & Bar is one of those hidden gems you discover and immediately want to tell people about. Located directly inside the St. Augustine Airport, this aviation themed restaurant offers true runway dining. We enjoyed cocktails while watching planes take off and even saw private jets arriving. If you are looking for a unique date night spot, aviation themed dining, or a restaurant with a view in St. Augustine, this should be on your list. We originally stopped in just for drinks, but when we saw pierogi on the menu and learned they were handmade by the owner’s mother, we had to try them. Such a neat experience to get up to the second floor and see the planes/jets on the tarmac. My meal was delicious, our server was friendly and attentive. If I could make any suggestions, I would recommend switching to black napkins and not have tables preset with appetizer plates. I came for brunch and got the lox and potatoes pancake. The potato pancake was perfect and the salmon fresh. They put so much salmon on it my meal was a great value. My mom got the French toast and it was SO GOOD. Will definitely come back for the evening experience

Hangar One Bistro at St. Augustine Airport. This place is a spectacular sleeper. Hidden away and far too unknown. The food is over the top amazing! Portions are generous. The ambience is spectacular. You get to see planes land and takeoff while enjoying incredible food. What fun we had! Seriously - go there. It’s one of those amazing places where you hope the community supports it regularly because it’s worth it and you want it to be around for a LONG TIME. It hit a 100% on all the things we enjoy. Pawlo was a fantastic server and deserves a raise!dinner was absolutely delicious! The chef seasoned the food to perfection and the steak was so scrumptious too ! Loved the sweet potato mash as well as the asparagus but the crème brûlée dessert hit the ball out the park ! Can’t wait to come here for my birthday next year! Best 11-11 day dinner ever!
