Hangar Bread

Best bread in the area, hands down. Their bread is soft, moist, with crunchy crusts. Their sourdough has a great flavor. They just DO IT. Our favorite items are the sourdough pretzel, everything bagel (sesame and poppy, no garlic salt or caraway), and the cinnamon bun (no icing available). Worth noting that you should check their daily schedule to see if they’ll have pizza dough for purchase.

Hygiene was appalling to me and my husband. We came in this morning to buy some pastries. We noticed the staff wears a glove on their left hand and no glove on the right hand. Presumably, this is so they could handle pastries with the gloved hand and cash or cards with the ungloved hand. The staff was going back and forth between handling the pastries and bread with both hands and the cash with both hands. This is not a sanitary practice. Cash is known to be particularly germ ridden. Additionally, the baked goods were being placed directly on the bare counter next to the cash register before being bagged. This poor hygienic practice needs to be changed.

It's a bakery with small reception area where to purchase. Nice outdoor area to enjoy your goodies. Good cinnamon rolls

I was visiting Hailey for a week and went to Hangar Bakery 3x plus the Ketchum farmers market. My favorites the jalapeño cheese bagel, olive bread, raisin walnut sourdough and mini chocolate chip cookie. Oh and the margarita pizza. Apparently I ate bread w every meal. Everything was wonderful. Staff friendly and helpful. I seldom eat bread at home but don’t you miss this bakery when in Hailey. Check the limited days/hours. Yum!❤️🐾🐾
