EDIT: Came back this year in 2024! Still an awesome place!! Been here a couple times after visiting the beach. Good food, staff are polite, good variety of ice cream flavors. outdoor seating is nice, clam chowder was very good!! So were the sweet potato fries!! 🍠 Good place!! Soft serve ice cream is HUGE. Keep that in mind before you order a large. (I ordered a medium) Only complaint is in the back the porter potty was gross, the floor was covered in dirt (well I hope it was dirt not er- something else 🤢🤮) Otherwise it is a nice place!! I would come here again (and probably will)

I’m absolutely thrilled to say that my childhood favorite ice cream shop offers various vegan options now! And they are so good specially the cookie dough. Absolutely recommend to vegans or people reducing dairy consumption due to intolerance or wanting to be eco friendly;)

Stopped by Handy Hill for the first time this season. Grabbed a pistachio icecream and a soft serve twist. Have stopped here for ice cream many times in the past. They offer a good assortment of hard ice cream and soft serve. Place has generally been cash only. Had their coffee oreo frappe on my last visit. Survived the brain freeze and the oreo bits didn't get jammed in the straw. Wife generally goes with a soft serve twist and is happy.

We enjoy their clamcakes! Their ice cream selections look good. Son got cookie dough and it was creamy & delish. We shared the clamcakes. I like mine with ketchup 🤷🏼‍♀️. Yummy. We drove to Gooseberry Island to watch the watcher and eat our clamcakes.
