Handel's Homemade Ice Cream

We had a really pleasant visit here! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Service was excellent — patient, cheerful, and happy to answer questions while we decided what to get. They offer a large variety of ice cream flavors, so it took us a while to choose (in a good way!). A nice surprise was the portion size: we ordered a medium, which allows you to pick two flavors, and it turned out to be huge — about four and a half scoops total. It was definitely enough for sharing between two people. I also came with a toddler, and this is where the place really stood out. I’m addicted … let’s be honest. Especially since I’ve been going to Leatherbys Family Owned for over two decades. Hands down this is the best in the state! I enjoy and never fail to get Lemon Bar and Graham Central Station Taro is also delicious! I also have never ventures from the Quart! It’s my go to to have for later. Handles is the best ice cream! They have so many delicious flavors and you can’t go wrong with any of them!! My all time fav is the summer limited edition S’mores!!!

The best ice cream! We love the blueberry cobbler, strawberry cheesecake and the salted caramel. If you’re wanting to try a bunch of flavors, go for the 4 scoop sampler. We will keep coming again and again!
