Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream Laguna Niguel

My husband and I have been to Handel’s in RSM but this is our first time at the Laguna Niguel location. It was pretty busy when we arrived around 6:15 pm Saturday evening but we only had to wait a total of maybe 5-7 minutes. The guy working gave us pretty generous portions and the ice cream is so delicious with a wide variety of flavors. It’s worth the $$ to go here and enjoy an ice cream every once in a while!

The ice cream flavors here are amazing and it’s all hand-made in the mornings Daily!!! That’s wild. My favorite is Banana Crème Pie, it’s so spot on and it has little pieces of pie crust cookies to really make it takes like you’re eating a banana crème pie. You must find a Handel’s near you and try all their amazing flavors!!!

When I first walked in and saw the variety of flavors, I thought I was going to enjoy an amazing ice cream. But after finishing it, I realized it wasn’t good at all. The ice cream is overloaded with sugar and feels very heavy. There are far better options in Orange County.

3 stars cuz the guy who took our order was nice but -2 stars because of the guy who rung us out was rude. I think he’s the manager but not sure. He was wearing a black sweater tonight. When we walked in he was just standing around then walks to the back even though there’s a line. After I placed my order and the nice guy starts making it, he walks back out front and wants to ring us up. I inform him that the person I’m with hasn’t ordered yet. He just asks, “ what do you want? So we tell him and he cash’s us out. The guys comes back with my Sunday and he tells him what else we ordered and then we’re told they’re out of the flavor he wanted. No apology or anything!
