Hana Sushi and Izakaya Corvallis (AYCE)

I’ve visited here on two different weekends and both times the restaurant filled up but only one server was staffed. They need more waitstaff otherwise you are waiting too long for it to be worth it since tables are capped at an hour. The server did well but 8 filled tables and 11 filled seats at the bar is naturally too many customers for one person to serve quickly. We paid $30 per person.

The sushi we had was decent, but the selection was very limited. Over 50% of the dishes were variations on a California roll. Hopefully their selection improves. Seating was very nice. Lots of roomy booths and plenty of bar seating. Very clean. I enjoyed the double conveyor belt which gives twice the throughput to select the California roll you want. 😑

If you’re a sushi loving college student looking for a quick bite to eat with friends, then look no further! Hana Sushi & Izakaya is a new sushi-belt restaurant on the busiest restaurant strip near campus. It is clean and inviting with lots of space for seating. You’ll enjoy the atmosphere while choosing different levels of Sushi ranging from basic rolls to quite eclectic rolls. Their drink menu will be a hit for all, particularly since they don’t serve much other than sushi rolls.

Great selection of sake. Absolutely surprised me as a newly opened sushi store in town. Though some people said it’s pricy, I completely disagree. They have a lot of food for each plate compare to other conveyer belt sushi. The vibe is great and the servers are very nice. Will come again for family dinner!
