This weekend I dined at Hamilton's Kitchen for the first time. A friend of mine rented a private room for an event. When you arrive, valet will park your vehicle for you (valet tickets are validated by the restaurant so make sure to do this before you leave). Walking in, the restaurant is past a lobby/bar area on your right. The place has a gentle vibe. It's beautifully decorated and was a perfect place to host brunch with the girls. Our waitress was Gabrielle. She gave great advice about the menu, helped us order drinks we'd like, and was very attentive. I ordered the crab and asparagus omelet with hollandaise sauce, a side of bacon, and a side of cheesy stone ground grits. The average meal is around $20. The grits were my favorite--they were absolutely delicious. To drink, I had a PE
Let me preface this with the fact that three stars overall I feel is pretty generous. If I could give them 2 1/2 stars I would. For $172 and a nearly completely empty restaurant. We had an extremely disappointing experience. The appetizers (crab bisque; delicious/ tuna crudo; sorta meh, needed seasoning) came out in perfect time, but then there was more than 30 minute wait for our entrées to come out which we couldn’t understand. The entrées themselves we had mixed opinions about. My wife had the flank steak with the chimichurri sauce, and she really enjoyed it. I, however, had the beef short ribs, which I hear they are known for and all I can say is I’ve never seen such dry meat in the sense that there was basically no sauce on the meat. The noodles were sauced fine but where on earth was
Yum. We had a great meal here recently. We started with a Burrata and Fig Salad, Brussel Sprouts and Beet Salad, and Buttery Cornbread. Next came an exceptional Sauteed Faroe Islands Salmon with a great Succotash (with a bit of Okra). The fish was crispy and cooked just right - still moist inside. The only dissapointment was that it was served on Swiss Chard instead of with Chinese Broccoli. My friend had what they called an America Peking Duck. They also called it a Duck Breast Confit. I don't understand the choices of names, but my friend thought it was delicious. Then we split a huge bowl of the McCallan 12 Yr Butterscotch Pot De Creme with large chunks of Toffee. So good. Brian was very good at service. We'll be back.
Hamilton’s Kitchen is such a gem. The vibe is warm and inviting, and the outdoor seating is absolutely fantastic—perfect for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. They offer a great variety of breakfast and brunch options, and their dessert selection is especially tempting. Everything I tried was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful (the matcha latte and fries were a standout!). It’s the kind of place you can enjoy for the food, the atmosphere, or both. Definitely worth a visit.
Excellent and elegant. Great brunch spot to spend a cozy afternoon with friends. The pecan smoked bacon is delicious, the creole chicken soup is smoky and has a great kick. The truffle fries are addictive, and turkey club is enourmous, and the bread pudding was so comforting. Our waiter Garrett was a lot of fun and very attentive. Great spot!!
