Almost to beautiful to eat. I said. Can't wait to share and dig in. Staff very friendly and provided recommendation to keeping fresh. I've loved Halfmann's for years from wonderful to good to wonderful again.

We bought a Gourmet apple pie. It was still warm when I got it home. Everyone loved it. Piled high with apples and a delicious crust. We are used to a more buttery flavor than this shortening crust. But the whole family agreed we found our new favorite bakery. We also tried a few items from the markdown table. And all the treats were delicious.

There is a new owner and they have brought Halfmanns back to its roots. The cutout cookies had their great flavor again, and were soft, just melted in our mouths! We ordered a cake for a baby shower and it was fabulous!!!!

DISAPPOINTED to say the least. I asked for a King of Spades cake for my son’s 18th birthday. It is lopsided with dented icing that is hanging over more on one edge than the other, the border is some sort of inconsistent beading, the Ks don’t match, the “spades” don’t look like spades, the “rectangle” in the middle is uneven and piece-y. This is not what I would expect from a professional bakery, and certainly not for such a small cake for $65. THE CAKE: ARTISTRY/DESIGN: EXTREMELY BELOW AVERAGE. TASTE & TEXTURE = GREAT.
