Haldeman Mansion Preservation Society

I walked around on the grounds to be able to see this grand mansion. It's amazing to think of all of the history that happened on this property generations ago. It goes back to when the Conoy Indians 1st settled in this area. (Conoy Indian town Settlement)

It's under restoration at the moment but the caretakers we're extremely friendly and let us see the downstairs and gave us a very historically detailed proper tour of the site, great place to walk around and picnic too. We are definitely donating to help keep the place open for the public, it's too much history to disappear ❤️😎

Recently had a wedding here. Gorgeous river view but frustrating experience. Groom & groomsmen had to set up dining chairs after being told all would be done. Day of, told linens would be on tables before 11am arrival. Arrived at 11:05 and no linens in sight. When doing the first looks, employee was standing in the doorways and around wedding party. Was told via email and in person that everything is included minus utensils and food, only to be told after the ceremony that we needed to get plates ourselves. No cups, plates, napkins, etc. were provided. Had to empty out the fridge in order to have room to put our stuff in. During reception, used our own speaker/microphone (not a DJ). Employee walked around at 8pm with decibel reader and proceeded to take the mic away from 2 of our guests w

Love the coffee shop. Donation based, she helps families and need through our donations. Great place to stop before going to walk. About 3 mi from the cliffs from the trailhead. Check it out everything is 1700s

Such a beautiful and amazing place! We love doing paranormal investigations here but just learning the history is amazing!!
