I was in search for some good island soup and stumble across this. I called and asked her did she have some soup and she said that only soup she had was pumpkin soup I told her I was interested in something different because I was sick. She immediately said no problem I’ll fix you up something real quick give me about 40 mins. I went and picked up my soup got home sit down and started to eat it and when I tell you I was not disappointed at all. Every bit of this soup was favorable. This is the best soup I’ve ever had. Not only is it different it was extremely delicious. On top of all that she gave me a bowl of rice to go with it.

As a haitian person….i value customer service and good food…I was on vacation and needed some haitian food, upon googling I found her place, drove there and order two food and I waited a very long time before I receive which tasted horrible except for the tiny pieces of meat. They were so tiny it look like scraps. The diri djondjon was really dry with no flavor. The pikliz was just cabbage and the marinade was really bad just a ball of flour. I didn’t receive my cornbread and really felt cheated. As a person who cooks haitian food this was unacceptable but she is very nice and pleasant. Just the food need some improvement and if you don’t have something mentioned it ahead of time.

I can’t believe she gave me instant boxed macaroni and baked chicken. Like if I wanted instant macaroni I could have made it myself why would I order that and it was disgusting. She will give you other than what you asked for I asked for fish and instead of calling she’ll just give whatever meat she has not knowing whether the person eats that or not. Like she has given me pork griot (I do not eat pork) or beef griot without even asking. I would rather her cancel the order and explain why than to just give me whatever she has. She doesn’t clean the meat like real islanders from what I could tell plus she can be rude. The meal will say rice and beans but she will give rice and green peas….i will not be ordering from her again I wish their was another Haitian cuisine Response to owner: Mam

I asked for fried grio (Pork ) the pieces were extremely tiny and I’m not even sure if it was pork tasted like MISTERY MEAT !!!!!! I wasted $25 and is very disappointed :( I rate it a 3/10 only because she was nice . The rice was good but I asked for rice and beans and got rice with peas so that was another mix up sorry for the bad review but it’s the truth

Very nice individual, however, service was prepared in a home setting. The food was decent but could have been a little juicier with Griot pork overhaul food was pretty good
