Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

Great food at a great price with a diversity of dishes that you do not find at your standard Mexican restaurant. This restaurant is locally owned and operated. Casual sit down dining.

The food was excellent and the service was great. I walked in and was seated right away. I ordered the Texas Fajitas and it came out hot a sizzling for that perfect Fajita effect. The fajitas were more than enough for one person and were loaded with flavor. The chips were great, but the salsa was just ok. (The salsa tasted to much like tomato paste). Their homemade tomatillo hot sauce was amazing. One thing people don’t realize is that every Mexican restaurant has their own homemade hot sauce, you just have to ask for it. Their homemade sauce was so good I wanted to drink it.

We were seated immediately. Our order arrived quickly and was steaming hot. The food was excellent and the tea is always good. The staff is friendly and attentive.

We were visiting family and decided to give this establishment a Go. It was overall a good experience. Staff was friendly, food was great and establishment was clean. Only issue was that I didn't appreciate my tortillas that were wrapped in tinfoil literally being placed into my beans.

NOTE - first thing you need to know: This place doesn’t serve alcohol. Learned that the hard way, but we had a big group and had already sat down so we decided to just eat quick then go somewhere else for a drink. Second thing you need to know - get ready for the creepiest, tripping Jesus artwork you’ve ever seen. I’m not kidding you, folks… UNCOMFORTABLE. Took a while for food to come (like 30+ mins) but we had a large group, so I’ll cut them a break. The Pollo Loco was decent, the ChoriPollo was good, but the shrimp salad left a little -pun intended- to be desired (unless you’re watching your figure? Four shrimp and a side plate of salad…. Also no dressing?). Got out checks and went up front to pay…. No one for miles. So bottom line- if you are trying to show off and appear worldly to yo
