Hacienda Don Manuel

Friends recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint! We ended up getting there at the tail end of happy hour (nice surprise on a Sunday), which was a great deal for the price. But that was just the beginning-the food was outstanding—fresh guacamole, tasty salsa & chips, and delicious, huge entrees—and so was the service! The bartender, Orlando, was attentive and kind, and the vibe at the bar was fun. Would definitely recommend-there are many Mexican restaurants in the Danbury area, but this one is a standout! Do not miss it!

I have been here a couple of times. I had the fajitas with black beans and medium guacamole. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is yummy and the place has a nice atmosphere. Even the bathrooms are pretty.

Authentic Mexican food with amazing service. Our server, Orlando was so nice and attentive. The queso was super delicious. It had onions, peppers, chorizo and ooey gooey melted cheese in a little pot served with fresh flour tortillas. The chicken quesadillas was tasty and served with fries. The fajitas was super fresh and sizzling hot as it came out the kitchen. Fajitas had steak and shrimp and served with flour tortillas, guacamole, very rich and velvety sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes. Rice and beans were such a good compliment to the dishes. Hacienda Don Manuel always has delicious food, a great menu, great ambiance, friendly staff, fun Mariachi music and this last visit they really went above and beyond. My elderly mom fainted and the hostess immediately helped me hold her and showed her care and attention as if it were her own mother. The whole staff was very supportive, attentive and helpful to get medical attention and make us comfortable and reassured. I am so impressed and grateful for how they went above and beyond for us. Thank you so much!!! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! I'll be back soon for hopefully a less eventful meal!
