Hachiya Express

In town visiting and stopped in for dinner..the BEST decision ever!! It was the best meal the entire trip!! Large portions and priced right!! The establishment was clean and decorated so cute for Christmas. We all (7 of us) loved the food, service and atmosphere!! If you don’t try it you are missing out!! We had the steak, chicken & shrimp.

Our family of 5 ordered take out and this is the best I’ve had in a long time!! My husband loves this food, so we try to get it quite often from various places, but the way the meat is cooked, just blew it out of the park. This is our first time ordering from here and it will not be our last.

Cute place. The food was very well seasoned and tasty. The prices online do not match the prices in the restaurant. That's what gave them 4 stars. Restaurant owners should be truthful. The prices match the hibachi prices that you get when you're going for the full "cook in front of you" experience "with soup and salad." It should be cheaper when you don't get your food cooked in front of you and you don't get soup and salad. Customer service was good though. I would recommend.

We come to Ocean Lakes several times a year and we don’t make a trip without eating here. I have never been a fan of steak, but I tried my husbands one trip and now I get the filet every time. The rice is the best I’ve ever had and the veggies are too. It doesn’t look like much if you go by location and look, but it’s a hidden gem. My 4 and 2 year olds survive on bath water and dreams, and even they finish every bite of their split junior filet mignon plate.

I got the jr. bowl with noodles. The chicken was so dryed out a d the noodle were dry and salty. I have tried twice and it was both times. For an upcharge on the noodles the jr.bowl was not worth the 10.75 I paid for food that I couldn't even finish. It's not that way if you order hibachi, the chicken is fresh but the noodle are hard and too salty. I'm so disappointed. Why so salty and dry?
