Habit Burger & Grill

Most disappointing visit ever! Ordered two of the Baja Crispy Fish sandwiches. They looked so good on the app. Neither sandwich looked anything like the picture. There wasn't any cilantro lime coleslaw, very little Baja sauce and a scrap of pickle onion. I could have gotten a better fish sandwich at McDonald's.

Tonight was a disappointment with our order being all wrong with missing ingredients. We’ve never had a bad experience but tonight it seemed like they could just not get it right. I ordered a chicken club with no tomato and got a chicken club with no avocado and all the tomato instead. We also got a side salad with the tomatoes (when we asked for none) but no dressing. The patty melt had the cheese but no grilled onions. The dressing for the chicken nuggets was missing and we were overall disappointed with tonight’s visit. They even double checked the bag and said it was all good when we had to remind them there was a drink with the order. We’ll be back hopefully for a better experience.

I really like coming to The Habit Bar & Grill. The food is consistently good and it doesn’t take long to come out, even when they’re busy. I appreciate that they have self-service kiosks so you can order quickly without having to wait at the counter if it’s crowded. The staff is always nice and easygoing, which makes the experience better every time. I usually get the Charburger meal (single patty), and it’s always really solid. The price is a little high for a burger, fries, and a drink, but overall the food and experience make it worth it.

As always, burger was great. The lady who took our order was really nice. Out of all the habits I have been to in my many years, this one in Layton has been exceptional. While I had a lovely double char with cheese on sourdough, I can also recommend their fresh salads.

I’ve never been to this location before. I was surprised to find that it wasn’t crowded. I came with the Teriyaki Char in mind. It comes with pineapple. It’s meaty, savory, sweet and moist. It was delicious. The sweet potato fries were hot and delightful. I brought half of it home to share with my husband. He was delighted. Make sure to have plenty of napkins around. My only question is, why were there so many dirty tables and a constant ringing noise. I kept looking around trying to find the source of the noise. When I got to the exit, it was even louder.
