Habit Burger & Grill

TLDR: Good food, clean, fast and friendly. Highly recommended. December 7, 2025: I drive truck, so I have stopped at the TA across the street a few times. I have always wanted to try Habit, every time I've driven by and now that I have... I wish I had tried it sooner! I ordered the Santa Barbara Char meal and it was delicious. The char is one of the best patty melts I have ever tasted. I normally try to get low carb options due to my diabetes, but I'm planning on fasting tomorrow so I decided to have it without making any changes. The bread is grilled sourdough, which I've heard doesn't spike your blood sugar as much. I'll know in about an hour if that's the case for me. This Habit Burger location off the I-5 near the Grapevine is a fantastic stop, especially if you’re traveling through the area. It’s right off the freeway, making it super convenient for a quick meal or break during a long drive. Despite being in such a high-traffic area, they do an excellent job handling a large volume of customers. Even when it was busy, the line moved fast thanks to their efficient setup. They have staff taking orders at the counter as well as self-serve kiosks, which keeps things flowing smoothly. It’s clear they’ve thought through how to manage crowds without sacrificing service. Garden salad generous. Tempura green beans were excellent. Very attractive newer location. Seating area large and pleasant.

An excellent fast food meal and a very clean and comfortable restaurant. My double char and onion rings were perfect. Also a great playlist of music playing at the ideal level for creating positive energy while allowing for conversation. Mercedes was a very helpful and friendly server!

Visited here for lunch. Ordered Crispy Chicken Sandwich on Sourdough and Veggie burger with parmesan garlic fries. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Food was pretty good, specially fries. Service was quick and place was well maintained.
