Im so sick of this place messing up my orders. I ordered a salad to take to the park and once I got there I noticed a hey did not include the dressing. I had to eat my salad dry. I’m pissed. I’ve been going here for years but lately the service and quality is gone. I will need to find another place for chicken salads. I used to love theirs. Not anymore.

Purchased the Teriyaki char and fries. Couldn't decipher any teriyaki sauce on the burger, but lot's of mayo... wouldn't buy again. The fries were better... maybe 3-star fries...just meh. Also tried For The Win across the street last night. That burger is more unique with an original sauce. I might describe it as a sweet horsy variation. Their sweet potato fries are perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. If you must get a burger in this area, go to FTW and not The Habit.

I had been an old customer for many decades since the Company opened its first Restaurant in Santa Barbara. For the first time ever almost all my today's order was wrong. Ordered a Double Char with cheese, the cheese was not there. French fries, not in the bag. Tempura green beans, not there. Ketchup pack, not there. Ranch sauce, not there. The order was to go. Was in a hurry. I had no time to review. LESSON: regardless of any place you order food to go, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS review your order bag before leaving. The hard working people there are humans and there are always good chances specifically on busy hours that some orders may not be fulfilled the way the customer wants.

Always have a great experience at this Habit location. Burgers fresh, juicy, flavorful. My go-to is the single char and the Santa Barbara. Fries is hot and crispy.

I like the food. Very flavorful hamburgers and fries. The employees are mostly friendly. The dining room is usually filthy. I normally come here on a weekday, during the 11:00 a.m. hour. There's often pieces of food and/or drink on the tables and seats. There's usually food on the floor, under the tables. The last time I was here, the woman who entered the store in front of me had a large dog with her. It was not a service dog. She sat at that booth seat across from the counter, where people wait for their to-go orders, with the dog laying there on the floor. Not only was the situation unsanitary, but I was sort of concerned about the dog biting me. Maybe it was just trying to be friendly, but it sort of lunged towards me when I walked past it.
