Gyodong Jjamppong

Took a look inside the new market and it was super nice. We decided to get the entire menu since they only really have just 3 items on there. Food was great and came out fast. However I would only like to say is since the menu is 3 entree items, Jajjangmyeon, Jjamppong, and Tangsuyuk- it would be nice if they had maybe half/half or combo options, I love both jajjangmyeon and jjamppong equally so I normally always get half/half and a side of tangsuyuk but no options here so I decided to order all 3, total came out about around $54. Now for the taste, out of all the spots in KTown that serve the same dishes. I would rank them up to be top 5. I really loved all the entrees equally, wasn’t much for me to nitpick from. the Jajjangmyeong was very savory, nothing was overpowering in the sauce,

The food here is absolutely delicious! I tried the jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and the jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), and both dishes were excellent. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving authentic Korean-Chinese comfort food!

The jjamppong used to be black peppery and OK. Recently it has been updated and has even better taste with the red pepper spice I prefer. Nicely done and improved, good serving of seafood with the bowl.

I got the Jjajangmyeon and it was really good. The sauce was not watery. But I would recommend to get the extra noodles if you eat a lot. Was not super filling.
