Gwendy's Cafe & Bakery LLC

I moved to the area in July and this was my first stop the morning after I arrived. I had their seasonal blueberry puff. Flavors were balanced, the pastry was exactly the texture I enjoy the most, and they have good coffee. I feel welcomed and at home every time I go in. They are now in my rotation 😁

Went to Gwendy’s for the first time this weekend and absolutely loved it! There were so many options of delicious food and baked goods. I will definitely be back!

An Ayden staple. As an almost weekly tradition for myself and the kids to visit. The food and treats are amazing and you couldn’t ask for a kinder staff and owner. Even if I didn’t live down the street I would be willing to drive at least an hour to visit!!!! The sweet tea and the black beans salad (seasonal) alone are worth the wait.

The ladies here are so kind! We were warmly greeted upon entering. Tasteful music was playing at a comfortable volume while we visited. We took our time as we made our selections. There were lots of choices: from cinnamon buns, blueberry buns, granola, muffins, cupcakes, cookies, scones, danishes, and much more. Needless to say, I chose an array of desserts. I'm beyond delighted with all my purchases. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The attendant notified me of joining the rewards program. I will definitely be visiting whenever I'm in the area!

I always enjoy stopping by Gwendy’s when in Ayden. Today I enjoyed the most delicious cinnamon roll and butter pecan cookies. Their cheese straw hearts make the perfect snack. Just this week the owner donated a chocolate mousse cake to be auctioned off at our county fair to support our military. So not only is this an excellent place to eat, but it is wonderful that they give back to the community.
