Guu's On Main

Summary: delicious food, came out cold and small portions for the price. Was excited about the menu and liked the atmosphere. The servers were friendly, nice, and helpful. ALL the food came out cold. The cheese curds, the warm sandwiches, the fries and sweet potato fries. It would have all been delicious had it been to temperature. Another note was that the portions were quite small for the price: for example, there is a $2 up charge for sweet potato fries and the portion is smaller than anywhere else.

Fun bar atmosphere. They had live music while we were there. Heard some tunes I hadn’t heard in a bit. I got a perch dinner, so did hubby. Our daughter got cod dinner. We all enjoyed our meals. The Rueben egg rolls were really good.

Stopped by for lunch and there is outdoor seating that allows dogs. The cheese curds were seasoned deliciously and the puppy menu was adorable. Only downside was that every piece of the bread was bland. The fish fry was the star of the show as there were huge portions and fresh fish, with a nice light fried crunch.

Favorite bar in Stevens Point, hands down. A clean & classy tavern with lots of old signs/prints on the walls (and their signature bison). Good food and a solid menu — try the honey bourbon curds! Plus a nice spread of local beer on tap. It's my first choice place to bring visiting pals from out of town for a beer and a bite

Hadn't been here like for 5 years use to be our favorite place. Friday night fish fry was not very good fish was all over fried and tough and barely any fries and a ketchup sized cup of coleslaw. I don't know what was up with the waitress she didn't seem to want our money waited 10 minutest to check out she walked by again and again finally just left it on the table. Atmosphere is nice but unfortunately not going back
