Gutierrez Deli

Stopped in to grab lunch while in the area. The food is absolutely amazing. The employees are so nice. The portions are absolutely huge - you think your Chipotle burrito is big? These make those look sad. I am already planning on going back for lunch again tomorrow. Highly recommend. So good, great prices and selection.

This isn't a place you want to skip in Covington, KY. It's down the street from popular Covington restaurants. However, I so happened to come across this one while waiting on dinner reservations for another place. After I finished dinner. I said now you're being greedy. In all fairness, yes I am. And I am glad I did. Because being in Cincinnati, OH for a few days. I noticed that traffic between Kentucky and Ohio is a beast of it's own. Although, it's only a 30 minute drive. I did not want to return to deal with that traffic. So, I got my greedy on. This place is a gem. It is a small cute hispanic community grocery store. But it also serves Mexican food. The authentic kind. I got their 3 tacos special, beef for $9.99. The tacos were so good. They do not skimp on the meat. Man it was piled

We were in town from Florida for a couple of weeks visiting family over the holidays, and ate at the Gutierrez Deli nearly every day. The tacos are the best you'll ever taste, the owner is incredibly nice, and the prices are great. We're back home now, and desperately craving a few beef tacos!!

Waited till today to support taco Tuesday. Trying to try the near by locations first. Unfortunately, The tacos looked descent however they were soaked in oil. I couldn't enjoy at all. They were somewhat favor less needed lime and spices. Also tried the chicken burrito "nope". Not the answer neither was good. the meat was dry and oil tasting. Help does anyone know any good restaurants to refer?

The food is authentic, delicious, and affordable and the portions are generous. You can't go wrong here, especially since the owner is almost always there and talking to customers like they are friends.
