Gutekunst Public Library

Gutekunst library in State Center is a warm inviting place to study, or join an activity. They provide a warm relaxing atmosphere and take pride in the establishment. Mara is one of many friendly faces you will meet while visiting this beautiful place. The decor is simply vintage but very stylish and unique! The play ground is well kept up and very clean while just between the park and library is a porch provided with comfortable seating and luscious blooming flowers near and around the building. The clean lawn provides space to enjoy a book under a tree or a little ball with your children. The interior is filled with art and creativity and adoring librarians! If you feel you need this in your life, don't take my word for it go see the beautiful possibilities!

This has to be one of the coolest libraries in the USA! It is in an old house that has been beautifully renovated. There's so many comfty spots to relax. The kids area is quaint. There's a nice playground set outside. And there's a friendly library cat.

Always good there. Librarians are friendly and helpful. Small playground outside. Covered porch outside next to a fountain honoring a former Librarian. Gardens around grounds. Worth a trip to see if you're nearby.

Lovely place with lovely people! Their upcoming maker space is going to be amazing :)
