Guiseppe's Sub Shop

Visiting from Utah. Needed lunch asap. This place was the closest sandwich shop, just down the street. I was a little skeptical at first, as there was no one else there. However, Guiseppe was very pleasant, and recommended the meatball sub. I agreed and he had me out the door in less than 3 minutes. The sandwich was delicious, probably the best meatball sub i’ve ever had. The meatballs are made in house, and the sauce was perfectly seasoned. I hope to return one day…

This place is an institution. I love their subs. Simple done right. They have a tomato, peppers and onion mixed with spices that is perfect on my sandwiches. Excellent bread and they are generous in their portions. Street parking metered.

classic. pillow soft bread, melt in ur mouth and super tender eggplant, great parm ratio. can’t go wrong, especially for the price and size

Nonantum gem. Love the old school Italian vibe this place has. The lady behind the counter is short and abrasive, the sub shop hasn’t been updated in decades - it’s great and super authentic. The subs are huge and fairly priced. Will definitely be back again soon!

Fresh bread. Fresh salsa. Excellent cuts on meats. Reasonably priced $10 for a sub with a soda. Hidden gym. Absolutely delicious and seating here.
