Absolutely Amazing Breakfast Experience at Guignard Diner! My husband and I recently had breakfast at Guignard Diner in Sumter, and I can't say enough good things about our experience! My husband is usually very hard to please when it comes to food — he’s always finding something to critique — but this time, he was completely happy with everything, and that’s saying a lot! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The star of the morning for us was their fried chicken — crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. My husband couldn't stop raving about it and said it was some of the best he’s ever had (and trust me, that’s a rare compliment coming from him!). Old school eating stop, with old southern classics and just enough serving size to fill you up. You get your money's worth however they only accept cash no debt or credit cards. There is an atm there but the fees are rough. Just bring $40 dollars cash and that should cover the meal and tip!

NOT 4.5 stars. Get there before 9:45 if you want biscuits. Prices are average. Ok place to eat but nothing extra. No Veteran Day discounts either.

The food was great and they have Pinneapple Casserole! Don't hesitate, just "Get it" If they don't have it...I probably ate it all! Lol. Total Love Lunches here with The Wife!
