Do yourself a favor and book a stay here. The rooms are lovely, the common areas are well-furnished, and Sutton's Bay is a delightful town with unbeatable northern Michigan charm.

Tom and Marilyn are so sweet and provide a great place to stay! Very close to downtown Sutton's Bay and 15 minutes from the historic fish town of Leeland. We loved our stay and found it quite peaceful. The beach was very low key and relaxing, within walking distance. The lake is breathtaking and perfect for a cool down. VI Grill was yummy for dinner too! Cute place, cute town.....suggest renting bikes or paddle boards! Great memories and looking forward to going back soon!

We stayed with Tom & Marilyn September 2012, and are going back soon. I just realized I hadn't reviewed them & we are already booked to return! The location is great, right on the main street in Sutton's Bay. You can walk to local shops & restaurants. Our room was very nice, good-sized & clean bathroom. They don't fix hot breakfast, but each night they replenish the fridge upstairs (where the rooms are) with a fresh fruit tray & fresh baked goods. Juice, milk, cereal & yogurt too. Make your coffee when you're ready. There is a general shared sitting area upstairs with couch & tv, shared guest kitchen & a small deck where you can sit & eat if its nice outside. VERY reasonable & they are a very sweet couple. They have a great house out back available for rental if you have a larger

This place was perfect for four college roommates to hold a reunion almost 40 years after we graduated. We had the whole upstairs of the house. Marilyn was lovely and very helpful. Three bedrooms with AC and ensuite bathrooms. Nice sitting area and kitchen and great deck for sitting out in the evenings with a glass of wine. Great location for activities in the Traverse City/Sleeping Bear area. Complete privacy.

Just returned from a "girl trip" in Michigan's wine country. It is not always easy to find a B & B that offers one bedroom to accommodate three people, but the Queen and Twin were perfect for us. The beds were comfy, but there was some noise from the street. Everything was perfectly clean and this B & B was the perfect location for us, as we wanted a location central to the wineries. Bonus that you can see the bay/marina from the deck where we relaxed to plan our next day. The fruit tray and cherry pecan bread (toasted - yum) was fine for a light breakfast and you couldn't ask for sweeter hosts than Tom & Marilyn!
