Grove at Briar Barn Inn in Rowley absolutely killed brunch. From a creative Bloody Mary flight to what might be the best croque madame I’ve ever had, every bite felt thoughtful & elevated. Farm-to-table done to perfection in a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Huge props to Paul & Dillon behind the bar for their amazing drinks & exceptional service—really added to the experience. 🌿🥂 Highly recommend.

It had probably been a year or two since I last went to the grove for dinner. The menu has not changed all that much since I went there last, obviously some small changes. The food was very good, we started with the brussel sprouts and fried pickles which were both very good. I had the duck which was excellent and crispy, and the other two in my party had the lamb pappardelle and steak frites. The food was very good, we ended with the coconut cake and cookies. Although the food was very good, I cannot say the same for the service. It was very disappointing to say the least. I don’t even think our server told us her name. It was slow, and she did not check in on us regularly. At one point we had all finished eating and waited probably 20+ minutes for our plates to be cleared and to order s

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Grove at Briar Barn Inn in 2023, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service and attention to detail were absolutely exceptional — just like at their sister property, Willowdale Estate, which I’ve always loved. The staff at Grove were professional, kind, and truly invested in making the day seamless for everyone involved. The atmosphere is rustic and elegant yet relaxed, the food was outstanding, and every corner of the property photographed beautifully. I can’t recommend Grove at Briar Barn Inn enough for couples looking for an intimate, elevated venue experience in the North Shore area!

An excellent Massachusetts wedding venue! I'm a wedding photographer and had the pleasure of photographing one of my couple's weddings at Grove. I love it so much that I had to write a venue guide about it on my website. Everything was great, from visiting one partner in Briar Barn Inn (where they were getting ready) right up until the dance party portion of the reception. The staff were very kind (to the couple and to the vendors) and everything ran smoothly. I was particularly impressed by how they handled plan changes: this wedding took place during the first storm of the season, so I just had to get the couple outside for some snow pictures. Can’t recommend the Grove for a private event highly enough! We had my daughter’s baby shower in the Bramble House at the end of January. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and loved by our guests! What truly made the day so special was the help of Rachel, our event coordinator and her team. Their professional support made our experience easy and enjoyable. I would 10/10 recommend Grove for your next event!!
