Grounds for Coffee

Such a cozy coffee place! I really like the one in Ogden and I always forget there's one off 89 but let me tell you it is absolutely worth it. I've been here a few times never a bad experience, inside was very clean, cozy, a nice work space, there's some local art being sold, the baristas are super friendly and quick with the orders, I got the seasonal "Peppermint Bark" which is a peppermint tan mocha and I added cold foam and it was DELICIOUS. I also tried a Ghost Face Chai in the fall which was super tasty. ADA accessible, and super service dog friendly as well! They had dog treats so Malcolm gives this a 100%!

Staff was very friendly and responsive. My order came out quickly - I got a seasonal flavor that was just as described and pretty tasty. There were some cute touches with decor and the adoption wall for pets that was sweet. The lobby area was super quiet, despite having several customers seated in it. I'd love to hear some background music, and maybe some softer seating to make it feel a bit more inviting. Otherwise I enjoyed my experience. I'm a big fan of the other locations and was excited to have the chance to check out another.

This is a nice little coffee shop. It is right off the highway and is defiantly the best coffee around this area. It is hard to find a good shop up here but Grounds For Coffee was great. A lot of options and pretty fast considering how busy it normally is. They even have a drive through, which is nice. If you are in the area and looking for a tasty cup, this is the place. Defiantly worth the stop.

Shocked to see all the positive reviews for this location. Really disappointing experience here. I've been to the other locations and they are great but this one was by far the worst dirty chai I've ever had. I don't think the barista knew how to make it. It tasted like watered down coffee served luke warm. No hints of chai or vanilla. There were 3 people in our group that all got the same thing and they were all equally terrible.

I love having a coffee shop so close! I feel like their consistency on how drinks are made needs work. I order the same drink every time and it tastes different depending on who makes it. Great prices for coffee! Sometimes there is a longer wait for my drink. I avoid it if I’m on the way to work and see more than 2 cars in line.
