Grounded Coffeehouse

In a new complex with a bunch of empty storefronts yet. Not very busy when I was there over lunch. Their hours are a little slim right now but I understand they're trying to hire more staff to increase hours. Only open until 1pm most days. Def a nice aesthetic. I ordered an egg and sausage breakfast sandwich on sourdough and a Cortado. The server kindly agreed to make the Cortado over a little brown sugar when I requested it. The sandwich was 6.5 out of 10 for the price. The cortado was 5 or 6 of 10, but I'm kind of spoiled on cortados... I think many new coffeeshops around here are launching in with the premium price level stuff and it's maybe going to take them a bit to get the quality of the food and drinks and the whole experience up to par with the prices they're charging. A very nice, new coffee shop. I ordered a vanilla sweet cream cold brew - my husband liked it, but the coffee had a velvety taste to it that I did not like. Not sure if all the coffee tastes like this, but I wasn’t able to drink it. The shop it self is really nice with plenty of seating inside and outside. Plenty of parking. There is also some baked goods available

I went with their Blueberry Cobbler Latte, which was the perfect balance of sweet and smooth. It honestly felt like sipping on dessert in a cup. To pair it, I couldn’t resist trying one of their homemade strawberry pop tarts—and wow… flaky, fresh, and filled with just the right amount of sweetness. 🍓 Grounded has that warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to slow down and enjoy every sip and bite. Definition; perfection. I feel so bad because I wanted an iced coffee but they only have iced lattes & the worker helped me choose which flavoring -since I’m a extra sweet but basic kinda coffee type (without all the many flavorings) but I must say the iced latte with oat milk & vanilla sweetener (just regular-not extra sweet) was again-perfection! Super good coffee and beautiful interior! There is seating inside and outside. The atmosphere is perfect for working or socializing. Would definitely come back:)
