Gringo Gordo Empanadas

This place is Legit the best in town! Their spicy beef empanadas are on point. The staff is excellent and very friendly while the atmosphere is relaxed and clean. We look forward to grabbing a few delicious empanadas after a long day at work! Highly recommend 👌 Best place in town!

I went so happy to try empanadas! And bought Argentina empanadas BUT I was disappointed as a Latina! No flavor!:they need to add that latin spice! And the chimichurri sauce didn't taste like the real one! Also the lady who sold us the empanadas didn't look presentable! Looked like she doesn't care for her appearance. Like if she was too lazy to even brush her hair! But she was really nice! And she had her son helping her which is nice she was teaching him how to charge and he was extremely polite and well mannered!! But had dried buggers around his nose. My advice to the owner is to add MORE FLAVOR! And talk to his staff to look more presentable!! Because the 1st thing that comes to MY mind is, IS THIS FOOD EVEN MADE WITH CLEAN HANDS! She looked like if she just woke up! And to go work

I’m Latino by marriage to an Argentine girl. I have been to BA and other parts of Argentina multiple times. I have enjoyed hundreds of empanadas from all kinds of restaurants, hole in the wall mercados and food trucks. Making (wife and mother-in-law) and enjoying empanadas are a regular part of my life! This place was a great find. Very delicious and authentic empanadas. I had never had a brisket one, it was great. Very tasty Chimichurri sauce to dip them in. The alfajores are a must try for dessert! ¡Muy rico!

The store was very clean and quiet. We got there 13:20ish. We ordered to go the Spice Beef, Kale & Mushroom and Brisket and got the chimeycurry and spicy ranch. Good tasty Empanadas. We will be back

One of my fav small business to support. The empeñadas are always fresh and delicious! The mushroom and kale isn’t my favorite right now. The staff are always friendly
