Greenville Arms 1889 Inn

This is the most perfectly curated art supply store I’ve ever encountered! They have all the Japanese pens you can usually only get online, Sakura watercolor boxes, micron pens, speedball linocutting supplies, and top quality quilting fabrics. And it’s all well priced! If you want a gift for an artist or creative type you literally can’t go wrong with any of the stuff here. It’s all professional quality. Aaaand it’s a legit coffee shop, real espresso, handmade chocolates, and locally made crafts—all the artists were clearly very thoughtfully selected and assembled; it’s like a gallery shopping experience. Already looking forward to going back!

While on a weekend getaway for my birthday, my boyfriend and I booked a room at the Greenville Arms Inn for our last night in the Catskills. We were welcomed with fresh baked cookies and champagne to celebrate which was a wonderful treat! The building itself is old, but it had a nice, homey feeling to it. Our room was clean and very comfortable for the two of us. The next morning we had the option to text one of the staff members to order contactless breakfast. We both ordered coffee, french toast and bacon for the room and it was perfect! Delicious and filling for our long car ride back home. The one staff member that we interacted with throughout our stay was very friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend booking a room here if you’re looking for a nice, quiet getaway, friendly staf

After searching for hotels in the area, all the big corporate one’s were booked. I am SO HAPPY I found Greenville Arms. Such a hidden gem in the area. They had BEAUTIFUL rooms available that were reasonably priced, and this was the perfect location to stay at while visiting my daughter who lives locally. I will never stay anywhere but here again. The owner was beyond accommodating and let me check in early to get settled and changed after a long drive. The room was lovely and had the most comfortable bed, pillows and blankets. The room was spotless and smelled fresh and clean. My room was right on the end of the carriage house so I had a great view and cool breeze flowing in. The mini fridge came in handy to store the complimentary waters and keep my leftovers fresh for dinner that night.

We recently were visiting in the Hudson Valley area and staying in Hudson. We did some road trips and toured the Greenville Arms 1889 Inn. What a fun and very nice BnB. The owners and Inn Keepers , Kim and Mark La Polla showed us around the Inn and the grounds. Besides being great owners sharing the history, they also make their own chocolates and have weekly painting classes with well know artists from around the Country. The bedrooms are different sizes and very nice and their dining area and living room are quite nice. Beautiful grounds with lots of trees and places to just relax. Also they have a very nice menu for breakfast and dinners and a nice selection of wine😊. Ok and my daughter and son in law work there also. Their you go full disclosure.
