Greenbrier Library

We love this library. The children’s space is great and well organized. All the librarians are wonderful with helping and answering questions. One Librarian even fished a personal book out of my returns that I had put on accident.

This is one of the smallest libraries I’ve seen in the area and they only have 2 study rooms which get booked quickly. I was shocked they didn’t understand when I asked about books on the “Law of Attraction “ or a self help section. Three of te people at the downstairs front desk said there was a book entitled “The Law of Attraction” but it wasn’t currently at that location. I explained several times that there are loads of books on the subject but no one seemed to understand. It’s a quiet library with a chair tucked in a corner here or there and a table with 2 chairs as well. Computers are upstairs. Staff was courteous. Super easy to sign up for a library account online. However, you don’t get full access (physical item borrowing privileges) until you visit a location to complete registration. The circulation desk staff was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Account holders may check out up to 30 items at a time, with no late fees (lost and damaged fees do apply). Reserving titles online to pick up at a location is easy, and you can transfer books to a site of your choice for your convenience. You also get free access to Libby and Hoopla with your account, which are digital media library apps!

I love this library. It's a bit small but the libraries are super nice and you can even vote early there! The kids used to be able to play with toys and socialize before COVID 😕 great location in a populated area
