Green Papaya Authentic Thai Aptos

I visited Green Papaya in Aptos and had a generally great experience with some standout dishes. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. We started with the fried potstickers and chicken satay. The potstickers were perfectly crispy on the outside with a savory filling, served with a nice dipping sauce and shredded carrots. The chicken satay had a beautiful char from the grill and was well-seasoned, though it could have been just a touch juicier. For the mains, the pumpkin curry with shrimp was a highlight. The curry base was rich and creamy with a perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the pumpkin chunks were tender. Great Thai restaurant! The green curry was delicious, a little bit on the spicier (more authentic) side compared to other Thai places in the area.

Wonderful place. Best Drunken noodles I've ever had. Very authentic, great atmosphere and really nice staff. Pool and Apple are awesome. Highly recommend!

This newly opened Thai place is closer to our house than our usual place, which we have been disappointed with the last two times, so we went in. We ordered a few items to try the food and take the leftovers. We ordered the Fresh Spring Roles. And the order had four roles. They were exceptionally good. They came with peanut sauce and a sweet sauce. We also ordered the Seafood Salad. The salad was loaded with seafood and the dressing was light and refreshing. For dinner we ordered the Panang Curry, which was a little spicy, but very tasty and different. We usually get the green curry. We also ordered the Pad Thai, and it was good, and the Sauteed Vegetable Delights. The vegetables were sauteed perfectly and very tasty. We went here as a family of vegetarians . It’s a small / cozy place, ideal for groups of 4-6 ppl and a bit expensive ! The waitress was friendly and very helpful in pointing out dishes that were not totally vegetarian despite the description. Vegetarian food is NOT marked and although brief description of the dish appears to be so , most contained shrimp paste and or meat broth. We got the Spicy noodle, Tom kha soup and yellow curry- totally vegetarian . We also got the roti & fresh veg spring rolls. We enjoyed them all ! Food portions seemed small for the price Very disappointed that they didn’t have fresh mango with sticky rice :(
