Green Mill Restaurant & Bar

My wife and I visited the Green Mill today. We have never been there before today. I had a piece of their stuffed pizza when I was much younger and it was amazing. Unfortunately, they no longer make it anymore. They do however still make their signature deep dish pizza. We started with their butter and bread which was excellent. I decided on their three cheese & chicken rigatoni for my entrée. It was very good. The cuts of chicken were large and plentiful. Lots of flavor. For dessert we had strawberry cheesecake. Out of this world. IF you are in the Albert Lea area, give them a try. They have a wonderful atmosphere , the bar is well lit and inviting and the waitstaff is seriously attentive. All around a great date night meal!

While out cruising my motorcycle, I couldn't find a restaurant that was open in Labor Day. So I called the Green Mill, and she was very friendly on the phone. And said, come on in. The server was wonderful. I asked for recommendations. She suggested the asparagus bowl, which was absolutely delicious. Their homemade bread was wonderful and the coffee was just right. Then she asked me if I was having dessert which I hadn't really planned on it until she told me about the cheesecake. I got the turtle one but had the stuff on the side. And oh, my gosh, was it delicious. So smooth and creamy! I absolutely love this place and look forward to coming back to it again.

It's been years since we've gone to green mill. I have some food allergies so I was thrilled to see gluten free options - finally. We had the best experience. Mac & cheese kids pizza, wings, burgers, gf pasta. Everyone left full and happy

Roadtripping across the US, there’s a charging station conveniently located in the plaza. Decided to come in and try out the food. For a Saturday it was busy, but immediately seated. Overall the service was great, GM checked in on us - food portions are absolutely worth the price. Chicken Marsala was flavorful! Chicken cobb was really good (currently stuffed!) Daughter loved the kids pizza - ginormous for a kid’s personal! Wish i tried the burger, but need to stay awake for the drive! Overall recommend/ would return!!

Food was good. Just wish they had sweet Tea. Worth coming back if we come this way again.
