Green Gables

This is a great place to eat. I had the Delmonico steak. Delicious. There were eight of us in our party. We all enjoyed our food. Service was spectacular. And we watched a couple of local guys compete at shuffle board. All in all, it was a fun evening. Will definitely be back. ❤️

The pastas are good and very big portions. The pasta with clam sauce is not as good as expected. The salad bar has good choices and very tasty. Please be aware that the salad bar that comes with entrees only includes one trip of salad bar. It’s not stated in the menu or mentioned by the waitress, but they will charge additional salad bar fee to your bill.

This place was in fact the hidden gem the other reviews made it out to be. Salad bar is great, lots of toppings, all chopped nicely, plus bread and pasta salad. The clincher for me was the hidden gluten free menu. Ask your server. She said they have GF pasta and ravioli, GF chicken tenders, GF flatbread pizzas, GF crab cakes, and GF rolls for sandwichesand burgers! Come on now! Staff are warm and friendly. Will come here again!

Pizza soup was delicious today!! Loved their apple pie! Had great cinnamon flavor. Was here Sept 12, 2024. Husband had a rodeo burger and he said he deserves 5 stars!! Loved the fries that came with it!!! Grilled chicken chef Salad was delicious . I would only change what type of cheese they put on it next time. It was American cheese slices. I would have preferred shredded cheddar or mozzarella . The. Grilled Chicken on the salad was some of the most moist tender chicken I have ever had on a salad! Great friendly service. Would stop again if we are in the area!!

We decided to stop in on a Saturday night. Green Gables gave us a serious dose of "down home" hospitality and great food far away from home. Our waitress was charming and helpful. The only minor drawback was I wish they had their beers on tap on a list at the table. Will definitely revisit to this lovely area and Green Gables.
