Greek Island Grill

I've come here a few times now and have been pleasantly surprised by the consistently good food. I'm Greek so I know my Greek food and this place is great. The octopus is some of the best I've ever had. They have parking conveniently located in the back.

Fantastically delicious. Absolutely fabulous food and the most INCREDIBLE baklava... Only the service could use some improvement, but otherwise highly recommend.

A fantastic, elegant yet casual BYOB in the heart of Hackensack . I’ve been going there for lunch and dinner for many years . Always consistent , affordable and delicious. Best Bronzino, lamb chops and Greek salads . People love the gyros and Greek appetizers too. With great ambiance in an elegant setting makes for a perfect date destination. Free parking in the back is a huge plus. Clear view to downtown Main st makes people watching fun. Gina, the owner and host makes you feel right at home and is quite accommodating . Save room for dessert!

AUTHENTIC! Delicious, Impressed... when i asked what they had to drink and the young lady pointed at a shelf of JOE TEAS(which i love), i was skeptical at best... but we started with the SPANAKOPITA(which is a spinach and cheese pie, inside philo-dough) and it was baked, crispy and hot, i felt better.. then i had a mediterrenean chicken and lamb gyro and a 4 meat platter which consisted of beef, chicken, lamb and pork... the tzaziki sause was a perfect addition to these delicious platters... great service and better food.. the place is not very big which makes it feel cozy with a nice faux fireplace... traditional style all white.. and they had a tv screen playing some traditional modern Greek concerts, with some beautiful romantic tunes... loved it all... will be back again

Wonderful gem with delicious food and friendly staff on Min St in downtown Hackensack. Great veggie and seafood options.
